Legal
Privacy policy
klimn.com is operated by Klimn. This policy explains what information I collect when you use this site, why, and what I do with it. I keep it short, because the site collects very little.
What I collect
Information you give me. When you submit the contact form, register for a webinar, or ask to hear about new webinars, I receive what you enter: typically your name, email address, your organization if you give it, and the details of your message. I only ask for what I need to respond to you. I don't collect sensitive personal information, and this site isn't directed at, or knowingly used by, anyone under 18.
Anonymous usage statistics. I use a privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics tool to understand how the site is used: which pages are visited, roughly where visitors come from. It can't identify you personally, and there's no advertising or behavioral profiling on this site.
Why I collect it
- To reply to your message and discuss a possible engagement.
- To send what a webinar registration needs: the joining link, a calendar invite, reminders and the follow-up.
- To tell you when a new webinar is announced, if you asked to hear.
- To understand, in aggregate, how the site is performing so I can improve it.
I don't sell your information, and I don't send marketing you didn't ask for.
The extensions and Klimn Reports
The extensions send no dashboard data to Klimn. Klimn Reports runs on your own servers, and Klimn receives none of your report data.
Who else handles your information
Running the site and responding to you relies on a small number of service providers, each governed by its own privacy terms:
- A cloud hosting provider serves the site itself.
- A CRM keeps a record of your enquiry so I can follow up.
- An email and calendar provider handles replies, calendar invites and online meetings.
- An email delivery service sends the site's emails, such as webinar confirmations and reminders.
- A spam-protection service checks that a form was sent by a person.
- A privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics tool measures anonymous usage.
I share information with these providers only as needed to provide what you asked for, and I may disclose information where the law requires it.
How long I keep it
Form submissions and correspondence are kept for as long as needed to respond to you and to keep reasonable records of an engagement, then removed. If you asked to hear about new webinars, I add you to that list only after you confirm your email, and you stay on it until you unsubscribe; every email has a one-click unsubscribe link. Anonymous usage statistics are kept in aggregate and can't be traced back to you.
Your choices
You can ask me to show you what I hold about you, correct it, or delete it. You can withdraw consent at any time, or ask to be removed from any list you've joined, by emailing hello@klimn.com.
Changes
I may update this policy from time to time. The current version always lives here, with its effective date below. Material changes will be noted on the site.
