Extensions terms of service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Klimn Extensions suite of Tableau Viz Extensions (the "Extensions"), published by Klimn ("we," "us," or "our"). By installing, configuring, or using an Extension, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Extensions.

1. What the Extensions are

The Extensions are viz extensions for Tableau that read left to right or right to left, with Hijri calendar support. They run inside Tableau Desktop, Tableau Public, Tableau Server, or Tableau Cloud, subject to Tableau's own extension permissions and, where applicable, Tableau's Trusted Extension hosting and review process.

2. License grant

Subject to these Terms and, where applicable, your organization's license agreement with us, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Extensions within Tableau, for your organization's internal business purposes.

Some deployments require a valid license. Using an Extension without a valid license where one is required, or attempting to circumvent a license, is not permitted.

Extensions distributed through Tableau's own Exchange listing are additionally subject to Tableau's own terms governing extensions obtained through the Exchange.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• reverse engineer or decompile an Extension beyond what Tableau's own extension model exposes;
• resell, sublicense, or redistribute an Extension outside your organization without our written consent;
• use an Extension in a way that violates applicable law or infringes the rights of others;
• attempt to interfere with, disable, or bypass license validation.

4. Intellectual property

The Extensions, including their design, code, and documentation, are owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms grant you a license to use the Extensions; they do not transfer any ownership rights. Your workbook data, and any visualizations you create using the Extensions, remain entirely yours.

5. No warranty

The Extensions are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or business opportunity, arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Extensions.

7. Changes

We may update, modify, or discontinue an Extension, or these Terms, at any time. Material changes to these Terms will be reflected in the "Last updated" date below. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your license to use an Extension if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the affected Extension ends, though data you have already produced using it remains yours.

9. Privacy

Your use of the Extensions is also governed by our Extensions privacy policy.

10. Entire agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding your use of the Extensions, except where a separate written license agreement expressly states otherwise.
